Garrison & Elliot

A few weeks ago I photographed my very best friend's sister and her kids. Kristin was down for the weekend and asked me if we could do a mini portrait session of her boys. So early Easter morning we made our way out to the playground for me to photograph her little gremlins ;) Needless to say, they were totally hopped up on sugar. But who wouldn't be on Easter morning?

Though the session was short, and FULL of energy, we got a bunch of great images. Here are just a few of my favorites:

I love this one of the three of them :)

He loves his brother!

Boys will be boys!

Noah : Contest Winner

Noah's mom, Michelle, entered him into my New Year's Contest for the kids session and won! (hooray!!) We finally were able to do his session a few weeks ago, and little Noah was awesome. He was so adorable, had the biggest brown eyes, and made the cutest faces (see below). I am so glad that Michelle entered him, and that I got the spend the day with this great little family!

Look at those peepers!

Adorable little face

Ha! This one just cracks me up

Seriously excited about playing in the stream and not getting in trouble :)

Tommie, Doug & Randa : Family

I recently had the pleasure of photographing this super cute family. Referred to me by Rebecca (the surprise wedding bride! - Thanks girl!) we met up with them in The Villages and they totally rocked out their shoot. Especially Randa, their little girl, she was the perfect model. The light was absolutely gorgeous on that day, proof positive by the 2nd to last shot.

Tommie, thank you so much for allowing me to photograph your family. I had such a wonderful time with you, and I hope these photos reflect that! And Rebecca, you made the best lens cap and battery carrier EVER ;)

Satabria, Ariel & Piper : Sisters

I loved photographing these girls. Ariel & I reconnected after over 10+ years of not seeing each other. We used to do children's theater together when we were in elementary school, playing random characters in "Alice in Wonderland" and other kids shows. Ariel found me again, not knowing who I was (since my name changed when I got married) but I definitely remembered her name! How many Ariel's can there be in Lake County? I was excited to do the shoot, and see her again, we always had a fun time together when we were little.

Her sister was going to be home for Thanksgiving, and wanted some family photos done. And just like the Cantrell's, they hadn't had photos done in years themselves. I had so much fun with them; you could really tell they loved each other (and their mom!) and they made each other laugh. We also did their shoot in downtown Mt. Dora. Here are some of my favorites from their shoot!

Kevin, Kelly, Spenser, Falyn & Tori : Family

A few weeks ago I got to photograph the Cantrell family. The Cantrell's were famous when I was in high school, the girls always playing sports, and were great at them, and the family was always super involved. The girls have always been gorgeous, so I was really excited to create some great family photos for them! The last time they had photos done was when their youngest daughter was a baby - 15 year ago! So it was definitely time to update.

We did their shoot in downtown Mt. Dora, such a great location for photos. Take a look at some of my favorite shots!

Sisters : Sneak Peek

I got home about an hour ago from an awesome shoot with three sisters. I just had to post these two photos, they were some of my favorites. Ariel *girl on right* and I knew each other as kids, we did children's theater together, and we hadn't seen each other in 10+ years! I love reconnecting with people randomly like that!

Here are two of my favorite shots from the very end of the shoot, one of the three girls and another with their fabulous Mom. More to come soon!

I LOVE Amy & Ben

These two are definitely my all time favorite models. Hands down. I cannot take a bad photo of them, it's impossible! Even when caught talking or sneezing they look gorgeous. And for that, I love them.

Amy and I recently decided to put our photography heads and husbands together and do a photo-swap. Besides my wedding photos, I have NEVER had any nice professional photos take of the two of us. Everything we have is holding the camera at arms length in front of us, hoping to get the right angle, and not crop out our faces.

So we set up a date, freaked out about what to wear, dressed up the hubbies and went shooting. We were both wanting a more natural look and ended up finding this A-M-A-Z-I-N-G field only 5 minutes from my house (why had I not discovered this sooner?!)

We picked the coldest day in October in the past 50 years in Florida (it was a chilly 48) but still managed to get some awesome shots (no blue lips here!)

So here are some of my favorites from the day, and at the bottom, my favorite of Zach and I. Thank you again Amy and Ben for being so uber-fabulous and allowing me to photograph you whenever I want :)

Seriously. Gorgeous. Field. I love the light here!

Ben is so GQ

Definitely my favorite. Probably ever! I just loved this grass.
