Kira & Eric : Engagement

Kira & Eric are one of those couples that I just clicked with. From the time we met last May, I was so anxious to do their session and see if that click still existed. And it did. Kira & Eric totally rocked their engagement session, and made me want to do it again as soon as I was finished. They are so in love, full of so much life, and constantly laughing. Shoot their engagement session made me that much more excited for their wedding. Seriously, I can't wait.

We start the session off at the botanical gardens in Ormond Beach. I had never been there before and didn't know what to expect. Botanical gardens?? Sometimes they're just super messy looking. But this one was amazing. Gorgeous plant, awesome stonework and incredible light. Afterward we headed off to the beach to finish up the session, and even though it was quite chilly Kira & Eric showed their true devotion to me by getting in the freezing water. You two are awesome.

Kira & Eric, I am SOOO excited for your wedding, I know it going to be even more beautiful than your engagement. I cannot wait to capture your big day and the love you have for each other. Thank you so much for being amazing clients! I'll be seeing you in April!

Jenn & Jared : Wedding

Jenn & Jared had a beautiful wedding in January at First Baptist of Winter Park and their reception was at the Tuscawilla Country Club. Jenn was such an amazing bride, totally giving Jessica Simpson a run for her money ;). She was absolutely stunning and so were her bridesmaids and flower girls, ALL 18 OF THEM!! Yes, Jenn is such an amazing person and friend, she had 8 bridesmaids, 4 honoraries and 6 flower girls. So, to keep things even, Jared has just as many groomsmen (minus the ring bearers and honoraries). Biggest. Bridal Party. Ever.

I had such a wonderful time at their wedding, Jenn is full of life, she was beaming the whole day. And it was so obvious that Jared just adored her. I cannot wait for their Trash the Dress session this coming fall in Savanah, their new home. Hooray! Real fall!

Congratulations again you two! I know a beautiful, blessed marriage is all you will have!

Christine & Mario : Wedding

Last month I photographed one of the most beautiful weddings at my new favorite place, The Courtyard at Lake Lucerne. Seriously Brides, you MUST check this place out. It's gorgeous!

Christine found me through another client of mine, Jessica (thanks girl!), Jessica & Mario worked together and she told Mario about me, who told Christine. I was so excited when she booked with me, I knew from our phone chat that we were really going to get along. I didn't meet her until the day of the wedding, but I felt like we were old friends. She and Mario were so sweet, so easy to work with and super photogenic. Their wedding was absolutely beautiful, full of laughter and lots of tears, there was just so much love coming from everyone. The day was perfect, the setting was gorgeous and Christine and Mario were so in love and excited to be getting married to each other. I even got a little teary myself!

Also, my fabulous friend and assistant for the day Amy tagged along and made the day that much better. We spent our time after the wedding taking promo photos of each other (you've gotta update those every once in a while!) and the location was too perfect to pass up! One she took of me is my new profile photo, thanks Amy!

So please enjoy this beautiful wedding and show lots of blog love to Christine & Mario. I hope that their marriage is just as beautiful and full of love as this day way. Congratulations you two!
