Bushra

Yesterday I had the privilege of photographing Bushra and her new husband. I met Burshra through Sabreena, one of my original bride's and the groom's sister. There will be more photos soon, but I just had to put up this one of Bushra. She was absolutely stunning, just see for yourself!

Rachael & Mike: Pregnancy

Earlier this month I photographed Rachael & Mike, who are expecting their first baby in about two months now. Rachael & I went to the same high school, she was two years older than me, but going to a high school where your graduating class is 48, you pretty much know everyone. We recently started contacting each other via Facebook (gotta love it!) and she is responsible for booking me my first Islamic wedding (and a big congrats to Sabreena & Umer for their own little bundle of joy!)

Rachael & Mike live in Kansas, so when they decided to visit their families in Florida this summer we immediately set up a pregnancy shoot. She was six months pregnant at the time, showing just the right amount for pregnancy photos. I had so much fun with these two, I am sorry though that I trecked them around through the sweltering August heat! But they were still beautiful and very much in love, and I could just see how excited they were for the arrival of Corban Michael. Congratulations you two! We'll definitely have to do a baby shoot next time you're in town!

A BIG Thank You!!

Summer Wedding Contest!

I have photographed some absolutely amazing weddings this summer, and as a Thank-You to all of you who allowed me to be a part of your big day, I am starting the first Summer Wedding Contest! Callie & Adam : Wedding

Callie & Adam are officially my cutest couple ever. You may remember from their engagement shoot, Callie is 5'2" and Adam is 6'7". Needless to say, I thought it was going to be a challenge to photograph these two together, but despite their heights, they went together perfectly. They were married at Paradise Cove in Orlando, a new favorite location of mine, and the day couldn't have been more perfect. With a 70% chance of rain for this outdoor wedding, we didn't see a drop. Callie's Mom even told me that their prayer group had been praying for it to stay dry, and it did! Callie was such a beautiful bride, and she couldn't stop smiling. She was adorable, the kind of bride every girl wants to be.

I met Callie & Adam through her sister Amy, who I met through another bride and we became instant friends. This is why you'll see so many photos of Callie & Adam with Amy and Ben *Amy's husband* They were Callie & Adam's maid of honor and best man, and no one else would have been better suited for the roll. Their families were so close, you could just see how much they all loved each other.

So congratulations to Callie & Adam, I know your marriage will be as beautiful as your wedding.

Allison & Patrick : Wedding

Last month I helped my friend Carly shoot a wedding down in Ft. Lauderdale (my old hometown!)

When we arrived at the church, we had no idea how absolutely GORGEOUS it was going to be. The church was HUGE (just see below) and it was Allison's home church, she'd been going there her whole life! Allison and Patrick were adorable together, and they had a stunning wedding. Unfortunately some rain kept us from doing a lot of portraits of them (also see storm clouds below) but it was still a perfect day. And their friends really knew how and loved to dance! We wanted to get out there with them! So Thank you Allison and Patrick for allowing me to tag along :) I had a wonderful time!
